TAURUS SERVICE has been providing "PROFITABLE GENETICS"™ to dairymen around the world for 38 years. The AFFILATED SIRES™ line-up includes Taurus Sires, Browndale Specialty Sires and Foundation Sires. Taurus Service also markets the LIC New Zealand Genetics in North America. Our 2008/2009 Dairy Sire Directory features all dairy breeds plus the new Taurus /LIC Directory features New Zealand Genetics. The new proof/price lists have all current genetic evaluations. A new directory of genomic proven bulls will also available soon.

THE APRIL 2009 GENETIC EVALUATIONS are now updated to include genomic information and up to date US & Mace type; blending with the USDA genomic release. Note the April Holstein Sire proof/price list features the "Traditionally" proven Taurus Sires, Browndale Specialty Sires and Foundation Sires, we are now offering a group of 31 "Genomic" proven sires.

PROGENY TEST SIRES & TAP (TAURUS AFFILIATED PROGENCY HERDS) Code 76 current PT sires remain available at 1/2 price to DHI herds if purchased along with an equal amount of proven sire semen. Herds signed up for TAP get PT semen at extra discounts and qualify for incentive payments if the usage requirements are met for herd size. Note all the Taurus PT sires have GPTA’S information published on the current PT Sire List.

DAIRYMAN’S CHOICE SPECIAL: we are offering great savings off already very reasonable retail semen prices. Be sure to check this offering! Also note that 48 of proven Taurus Holstein Sires have an average retail price of only $17.00 and our 31 "G" proven bulls range in price from $7.00 to $26.00 an average of only $16.00. Some of the "G" proven bulls are also on special. We are happy to say we have not increased the price of any proven Holstein Sire and have even lowered some to help in these economic times. The highest price of any Affiliated Sires™ proven bull is only $35.00. Remember it’s not the % discount you get when purchasing semen it’s the dollar amount you pay per straw.
